FAQ

When should I RSVP by?

Please be sure to RSVP by September 1st so we can save you a seat!

What if I do not RSVP in time?

To help us with our planning, we ask that you kindly RSVP by September 1st. If we don't receive your RSVP by the date specified, we cannot make any exceptions and will have to mark you as "No". If you have already RSVP'd "Attending", but find that you will not make it, please notify Alexis as soon as possible. We need to provide the venue with an accurate count in a timely manner, we hope you understand!

What do I do if I cant make it?

You will be dearly missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "Not Attending" so that we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Because the ceremony begins promptly at 12 pm, we kindly ask you to arrive at 11:30 am. This will give you time to find parking and to ensure you get your seat in time for the ceremony.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We ask that you kindly put your phones & cameras away and put on silence during the ceremony as it will be an "unplugged ceremony". The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say, "I do"! After the ceremony, feel free to take pictures.

Will the ceremony & reception be indoors or outdoors?

Both will be held indoors. Cocktail hour will be held at the outdoor patio.

Are the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception in the same place?

Ceremony will be held at St. Ann's Catholic Church and Cocktail hour & Reception will be held at Chateau Joli.

Is there parking available at the ceremony and reception?

Yes, there is plenty of parking spaces available at the church and at the venue.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Yes, there will be a time gap between the ceremony & the reception. Take this time to tour around the area! Check out our "Things To Do" tab for more information.

Is there a dress code?

Yes! We would love to see our friends and family get fancy with us! Formal attire is requested. Ladies can wear floor -length or midi formal dresses. Gentlemen should wear a suit and tie. Since our wedding lies in the fall season, we prefer fall colors such as jewel tones, taupe, caramel, navy, emerald or sage green, espresso, beige, etc. We kindly ask the guests to avoid champagne, white, ivory and cream colors reserved for the bride and the wedding party. No jeans or boots! Attached below are some examples/inspo of the requested attire:

Can I bring a date?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they would appear under your name when you RSVP. Otherwise, we ask that only the named people in the invitation are in attendance. Thank you for understanding!

Are children welcome?

While we love your little ones, we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. We have decided to make this an adults-only event with the exception of those within our intermediate family!

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you! Please arrange transportation from the venue if you plan on drinking. Also, Uber & Lyft are able to reach from the venue as an option for safe transportation. We want all of our loved ones to make it home safely.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Yes! There are 2 hotels booked for room blocks. For more information, please see our "accommodations" tab.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

We will be serving Asian & Mexican food! Mexican food will be served buffet style followed by family style Asian dishes that will be served at each table.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

When you RSVP, there will be an option for guests to put down dietary restrictions & food allergies.

How can I contribute to your honeymoon fund?

The greatest gift of all is your presence on our special day! However, should you wish to contribute to our honeymoon fund, we have a registry tab on our website and a card box that will be at the reception!
